These people could be good examples or bad examples. We should be thankful for those people in our lives that we look up to, but we should not be afraid to transfer our focus from our mentors to Jesus. Jesus is better than even the best of us, and He can teach us Truth in a way that no other person can. Jesus is the anchor in our souls.
