The Law was given because of transgressions and held us in custody, acting as our guardian until Jesus would come. Now that Jesus has come, we no longer need that guardian. The same promise that was given to Abraham, has been given to us. When we accept Christ by faith, we, too, become heirs to Abraham's promise. Because of this, all peoples of all the earth have been blessed. The Savior has come!
